Anti-Aging Supplement Some Call Instant Face Lift
Ten years ago, at 47-years-old, I started using a supplement called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) for my arthritis. It works so well I forget my achy joints at times. But another funny thing happened — customers started asking if I had had a facelift, and a couple even checked for surgical scars! I found out Hyaluronic Acid is also great for aging skin. Now (at 57!) I bathe in it internally and externally.
Hyaluronic Acid is nothing to be afraid of. It’s a natural substance found in the body that we lose as we age, or gets destroyed by sun exposure, causing dry skin and wrinkles. It is great for skincare because of its ability to retain water, as much as 500 – 1000 times its own weight. It is this property of HA that makes skin moist, soft, and elastic, & thereby maintaining a more youthful appearance.
Hyaluronic Acid is now available in many skincare products and is touted for anti-aging skincare. You know the filler Restylane that women of a certain age pump into their faces? That’s Hyaluronic Acid! I use a serum with HA and I still use HA every day for my arthritis, Lifetime Natural Hyaluronic Acid, 140 mg a day as a capsule. And I guess I will just have to put up with the side effect of younger-looking skin.
